Websites: oh.xyz & ohchat.com Overview We’re looking for a sharp, proactive, and highly connected PR Lead to own Oh’s communications strategy and media presence. This is a rare opportunity for a public relations professional to help define the narrative of a category-defining brand at the cutting edge of AI, entertainment, and creator tech. As our in-house PR Lead, you’ll be responsible for shaping and amplifying the stories of our platform, product, and digital twins, ensuring Oh and its creators are front and centre in key conversations across tech, culture, and media. You’ll work closely with our CMO, founders, and creator partnerships team to land impactful coverage, build long-term media relationships, and react swiftly to timely moments. Our user base is primarily U.S.-based, so strong existing relationships with North American journalists is essential. You’ll also help scale our global presence as we expand into new markets. Purpose of the Role This is a senior individual contributor role, responsible for designing and executing Oh’s entire PR strategy, from building long-term brand equity to landing timely hits that drive awareness, traffic, and credibility. You’ll be the key driver behind getting our platform, creators, and technology noticed, crafting compelling narratives, pitching stories to top-tier media, and reacting quickly to breaking trends and opportunities. You’ll be especially focused on U.S. media, but with a global view as we scale. Key Responsibilities • Lead and own Oh’s PR strategy - covering brand, product, digital twins, and company milestones. • Build and maintain strong relationships with key U.S. journalists across tech, entertainment, lifestyle, and creator economy media. • Pitch stories to generate regular coverage in high-impact publications (e.g. The Verge, TechCrunch, NYT, Rolling Stone, Fast Company, Wired). • Craft press releases, pitches, talking points, FAQs, and reactive statements. • Proactively identify newsworthy hooks and cultural moments that align with our brand. • Collaborate with marketing, product, and creator teams to surface great stories and coordinate media moments. • Act as a media advisor to Oh’s senior leadership and creators - preparing them for interviews and public appearances. • Manage PR reporting and track key coverage, sentiment, and reach. Skills & Experience Required • Minimum 6 years’ experience in public relations, with a focus on U.S. media. • Strong media contacts in consumer tech, entertainment, creator economy, or cultural/lifestyle journalism. • Demonstrated ability to land coverage in top-tier U.S. outlets. • Exceptional writing skills - clear, persuasive, and brand-aligned. • Strategic thinker with a nose for a good story and a track record of driving results. • Able to operate both strategically and hands-on - writing copy, chasing stories, and managing relationships yourself. • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment where agility matters. • Bonus: Experience in AI, Web3, or creator-focused platforms.
