Job Title: Power BI Developer Philadelphia PA(Initial Remote) Contract Mandatory Skills: 1. 3+ years of Experience working in Power BI 2. Skills in BI tools and systems such as Power BI, SAP, Tableau etc 3. Implementing row level security in Power BI 4. Aware of writing DAX expressions 5. Developing custom BI reports using R, Python etc 6. Sound knowledge of data management, data modelling, business intelligence, SQL querying, data warehousing and OLAP 7. In-depth understanding of MS-BI stacks such as Power Pivot, SSIS, SSRS and SSAS Job Description : • Develop operational reports • Build automated reports and dashboards with the help of Power BI and other reporting tools • Understand business requirements to set functional specifications for reporting applications • Be experienced in tools and systems on MS SQL Server BI Stack, including SSRS and TSQL, Power Query, MDX, PowerBI , and DAX • Be able to quickly shape data into reporting and analytics solutions • Create functional reporting • Have knowledge of database fundamentals such as multidimensional database design, relational database design, and more Roles and Responsibilities : 1. To understand business requirements in the BI context and design data models to convert raw data to meaningful insights. 2. Responsible for designing, developing, and deploying business analytics dashboards using Microsoft BI technologies such as SQL, Power BI, etc. 3. To create dashboards and visual interactive reports using Power BI. 4. To identify KPIs with clear objectives and monitor them consistently. 5. To analyse data and present it through reports that can help in decision-making. 6. To be able to convert business requirements into technical specifications and decide the timeline to accomplish tasks. 7. To design, develop, and deploy Power BI scripts and perform efficient detailed analysis. 8. To perform DAX queries and functions in Power BI. 9. To create charts and document data with algorithms, parameters, models, and relations explanations. 10. To conduct data warehouse development. 11. To perform SQL querying for best results. 12. To use filters and graphs for a better understanding of the data. 13. To define and design new systems by analysing current ETL processes. 14. To make technical changes to existing BI systems to enhance their working.
