As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for customers, addressing their inquiries, and providing personalized assistance to ensure they receive the best possible solutions. Key Responsibilities Answer inbound phone calls from customers, providing information and assistance regarding health care insurance options, and helping them navigate the enrollment process. Update customer and account information as needed, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Maintain detailed case records, notating the purpose of each call and any subsequent actions. Utilize multiple database applications to access relevant information, resolve customer inquiries, and provide solutions. Respond to general customer inquiries, addressing concerns and providing timely resolutions. Strive to meet performance metrics, ensuring continuous improvement and professional growth opportunities. Requirements and Qualifications To succeed in this role, you will need: A high school diploma or equivalent; college attendance or degree is preferred. Minimum 1 year of call center experience, preferably in a healthcare-related environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner. Proficiency in computer applications, with the ability to learn and understand health insurance policy and terminology. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and interact effectively with customers and coworkers. The capacity to problem-solve, prioritize, and multi-task, utilizing multiple computer applications while interacting with customers. Flexibility, reliability, and availability for occasional overtime as needed. The ability to pass required skill and knowledge assessment tests. A commitment to completing 3 weeks of class training and 4 weeks of supervised call taking (nesting) without missing any time. A proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service in a high-volume call center environment. Familiarity with database applications and CRM software.
