Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Platform Manager, Data and Analytics to join our IT team. You will be responsible for leading the data and analytics services and maintenance of our IT platforms. Additionally, the Platform Manager supports Agile teams in development, testing, and release management to further ensure our services meet the needs of our business.
This position is hybrid-remote and based in Hyvinkää or Espoo, Finland. The role includes occasional business travel of around 2 weeks per year.
Your key responsibilities:
Lead and coach the data and analytics platform team.
Lead the development, implementation and support operations of the data and analytics platforms to support business operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define platform requirements and ensure alignment with business goals.
Manage the lifecycle of IT platforms, including upgrades, maintenance, and decommissioning.
Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of IT platforms.
Develop and maintain documentation for platform architecture, processes, and procedures together with solution designers and architects.
Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation.
Coordinate own area supplier portfolio and cooperation.
Qualifications
What you should bring:
Proven experience in team leadership and managing IT services in a large organization.
Excellent service and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in Microsoft technologies. Practical experience of developing enterprise level reporting and data platform services.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
At least Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or a related field.
