Physician (MD) with AI / ML / LLM Expertise

You can learn more about us at We are seeking a physician who bridges clinical medicine with machine learning and artificial intelligence, ideally someone who understands both patient care and the engineering logic behind modern AI systems. This is a remote role for an MD who can contribute clinical expertise, guide model development, and provide medical support. About the Role We are looking for an MD who is equally comfortable reviewing laboratory data and designing AI/ML workflows. You will be collaborating closely with engineers, data scientists, and product leads as we build tools that help physicians receive clearer medical insights. At the same time, you would serve as a remote physician and provide ongoing integrative medical guidance. Responsibilities • Provide remote medical care, including prescribing where appropriate. • Review, validate, and refine AI-generated outputs to ensure medical accuracy and safe clinical reasoning. • Work with engineers and ML specialists on model design, logic structures, and medical data handling. • Assist in shaping the high-level clinical framework that informs our AI platform. • Participate in model testing cycles, give rapid medical feedback, and guide improvements. • Communicate medical concepts clearly to technical teams with varying clinical backgrounds. Requirements • MD with active license and the ability to prescribe. • Experience in one or more of the following: medical informatics, machine learning, LLMs, AI-assisted healthcare tools, or clinical data science. • Ability to translate clinical reasoning into structured logic for engineers. • Strong comfort working in interdisciplinary teams (engineers, product, operations). • Remote care experience and excellent communication skills. • Full-time availability and responsiveness in a remote environment. Ideal to have: • Background in functional, integrative, preventive, or lifestyle medicine. • Hands-on experience building or advising on ML/AI workflows. • Experience reviewing statistical models, datasets, or AI outputs for medical soundness. • Prior work in digital health, health-tech, or physician-informaticist roles.
