Key Responsibilities Customer Engagement and Solution Development: Collaborate with customers to identify their pain points and requirements, and develop tailored solutions that meet their needs. This involves working closely with the sales and engineering teams to ensure a deep understanding of customer requirements and the development of effective solutions. RFP/RFI Response Management: Oversee the technical aspects of RFP/RFI responses, ensuring that proposals are comprehensive, accurate, and submitted on time. This requires a strong understanding of IPConfigure's products and services, as well as the ability to communicate complex technical information in a clear and concise manner. Onboarding Process Management: Ensure a seamless transition for new customers to the IPConfigure platform, providing technical support and guidance throughout the onboarding process. Sales Demo Infrastructure Maintenance: Maintain and update the IPConfigure sales demo infrastructure and equipment, ensuring that it remains current and effective in showcasing the company's products and services. Effective Communication: Communicate customer needs and feedback to both sales and engineering teams, ensuring that customer requirements are understood and addressed. Essential Qualifications and Skills To succeed as a Software Sales Engineer with IPConfigure, you will need to possess a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in supporting the sales of complex enterprise solutions. The ideal candidate will have: A Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or business with significant technical experience. A minimum of 3 years of experience in the software industry, preferably in a sales engineering or technical sales role. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner. Analytic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze customer needs and develop effective solutions. IT and networking experience, with a solid understanding of technical concepts and terminology. Knowledge of the video surveillance industry and technology is a plus, but not essential. Willingness to travel as required.
