Payments Specialist - (Customer Service Job)

Ovation Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Payments Specialist to join our customer service team remotely. This role focuses on managing payment processes, resolving payment-related inquiries, and ensuring a seamless payment experience for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Process and verify incoming payments via various channels (credit card, ACH, checks, etc.).
- Respond promptly to customer payment inquiries via phone, email, or chat.
- Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies or disputes.
- Collaborate with billing and accounting teams to ensure accurate records.
- Maintain detailed documentation of payment transactions.
- Assist in payment reconciliations and reporting.
- Support continuous improvement of payment processes and customer service standards.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Previous experience in payment processing, billing, or customer service roles is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with payment systems, financial software, or CRM tools is a plus.
- Ability to work remotely with reliable internet and strong time management skills.
