Additionally, the advocate will provide childcare for children aged 6 weeks to 4 years while their mothers attend support groups, which includes setting up activities and ensuring a clean and safe play area. The position requires a strong commitment to helping others, as well as the ability to work independently and make decisions in high-pressure situations. The advocate will be expected to engage with residents and children in a supportive manner, fostering a sense of safety and trust. This role is vital in helping families navigate their challenges and providing them with the resources they need to heal and move forward. The advocate will also participate in 34 hours of paid training before working independently, ensuring they are well-prepared to handle the responsibilities of the position.
Responsibilities

Requirements
 At least two years of college or two years of related work experience.
