Our products are handcrafted from recycled materials by artisan partners in India and sold to major U.S. retailers and global markets. As we scale, we are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead and expand our logistics operations. Position Overview We are seeking a hands-on Supply Chain Manager with deep experience managing Ocean, Air, and FOB India shipments for major retailers such as Walmart, Target, and Fortune 500 companies. This role will own the full lifecycle of order execution while also leading compliance training for our India-based teamand building scalable systems to support growth. Key Responsibilities Global Order & Shipment Management • Manage purchase orders and shipments from India to the U.S. and international markets • Execute and oversee FOB shipments out of India, coordinating with factories and freight partners • Manage and optimize ocean and air freight based on timelines, cost, and urgency Retailer Compliance & Portal Expertise • Ensure full compliance with Walmart, Target, and other retailer requirements • Manage routing, bookings, labeling, packaging, and delivery standards • Navigate and manage retailer portals and transportation systems Team Training & Capability Building (India) • Train and mentor India-based team on retailer compliance, shipping processes, and documentation • Build SOPs and best practices for consistent execution • Serve as the go-to expert for troubleshooting compliance and shipment issues Freight & Forwarder Management • Own relationships with freight forwarders and carriers • Book, track, and manage ocean and air shipments end-to-end • Optimize freight strategies, transit times, and costs Documentation & Trade Compliance • Oversee all commercial shipping documentation (CI, PL, BOL, COO, etc.) • Ensure compliance with international shipping and customs regulations Process Building & Scaling • Build scalable logistics processes to support growth • Identify inefficiencies and implement systems to improve visibility and execution Qualifications • 7+ years of supply chain/logistics experience • Direct experience with Walmart, Target, and/or Fortune 500 retailers • Strong expertise in FOB India shipping models • Proven experience managing ocean and air freight • Experience training teams and building SOPs across global teams • Deep knowledge of retailer compliance, routing guides, and portals • Demonstrated ability to run and scale logistics operations What Success Looks Like • On-time delivery across all FOB India ocean and air shipments • Zero compliance issues with major retailers • India team independently executing compliant shipments • Strong, reliable freight forwarder performance • Scalable systems supporting continued company growth Why Join Us • Mission-driven company supporting artisan communities • Opportunity to build and scale a global supply chain • High-impact, leadership role • Flexible, remote work environment • Nice team of professional people Pay: $1,400.00 - $1,600.00 per month Work Location: Remote
