About the Role: Senior Analyst, Financial Planning Systems This is an exciting part-time, remote opportunity to join blithequark's Financial Planning Systems team as a Senior Analyst. As a key member of our team, you'll leverage your financial and IT expertise to support and develop financial systems applications, acting as an internal consultant to identify automation opportunities and deliver tailored solutions. As a Senior Analyst, you'll be integral to our financial planning processes, working closely with various teams to drive business growth and efficiency. Key Responsibilities Support the Hyperion planning application for forecast and actual financials on a regular basis. Validate data from Hyperion Financial Management and from regulators to ensure accuracy and compliance. Investigate and resolve issues with data, including divisional roll-ups and intercompany transactions. Maintain framework upkeep, including client permissions and system issues. Assist clients with framework issues, existing reports, structures, and models. Prepare in-depth analyses on various complex financial issues and competitive industry investigations. Facilitate and complete the monthly headcount process regarding Hyperion. Update Hyperion Planning with order changes and coordinate hierarchy changes with Regulators and GL organization. Consult with work groups to determine reporting business needs and propose efficient solutions. Create Essbase cubes, Planning Applications, Reports, as well as forecasting and planning models for Finance divisions. Requirements for Success Essential Qualifications A bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Information Systems, or equivalent experience/training. At least 2 years of work experience in a Finance role, including experience with financial statements, financial modeling, and analysis. A strong IT background, including experience with Oracle and multi-dimensional and relational database structures. Preferred Qualifications Experience using Hyperion, including development and administration experience (including Smart View, Essbase, Planning). Demonstrated ability to adapt and be flexible in the use of analytical methodologies relating to financial issues. Strong issue-solving skills, with the ability to module and analyze data. Meticulous with a focus on accuracy and the ability to prioritize tasks. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Excellent collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work effectively in various circumstances.
