Position Overview

As a Customer Care Associate at arenaflex, you will be responsible for providing world-class service in our leading-edge call center environment. This position involves processing incoming orders and resolving customer inquiries in a courteous and professional manner to support the sale and marketing of our supplier brands. You will be working during our afternoon shift hours, specifically Monday through Thursday from 12:30 PM to 6:00 PM EST, giving you ample time to balance other commitments while contributing to our team's success.

This is a remote position, meaning you can work from the comfort of your own home. However, we require all candidates to reside in one of the approved states and be able to commute to an office location if needed. The approved states include Illinois, Maryland, New York, Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Minnesota, Nevada, South Carolina, Virginia, Washington D.C., Wisconsin, and Missouri.

Compensation and Benefits

Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Care Associate, your primary responsibilities will include:


Order Processing: Ensure that all sales are captured by responding to customers promptly and entering orders accurately and efficiently in our SAP system. You will be responsible for maintaining order accuracy and ensuring that each transaction is completed correctly.
Customer Inquiry Resolution: Successfully resolve customer inquiries through the use of multiple customer support tools. This includes conducting research in SAP and contacting business units as appropriate to ensure comprehensive and timely responses.
Performance Excellence: Maintain world-class standards by successfully performing against department scorecards and metrics. You will be expected to identify and seek to continuously exceed service requirements of business units by building and managing relationships with customers and contacts at each unit.
Customer Relationship Building: Establish and maintain world-class customer relations by developing a rapport and actively listening to gain more information where necessary. Provide consultative support and recommendations to enhance the customer experience.
Customer Retention and Satisfaction: Identify and evaluate opportunities to increase customer retention, maintain customer confidence, and protect operations by keeping information confidential. Sustain customer satisfaction by suggesting alternatives to out-of-stock or limited quantity items and informing customers of available deals and promotions.
Additional Duties: Other duties, as assigned by your supervisor, may also be required to support team operations and ensure seamless service delivery.


Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:


High school diploma or equivalent required
Basic PC skills using MS Office and various other computer programs
No previous experience required – we welcome candidates who are eager to learn and grow
Must be a results-oriented professional with excellent verbal and written communication skills, using diplomacy and discretion at all times
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers
Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume team environment
Capability to work independently and/or within a team as needed
Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines consistently
Sound judgment and problem-solving skills to handle various customer situations


Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications will be considered a plus:


Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or equivalent training and work experience
1-2 years of previous experience in a customer service role
Experience in the consumer products or distribution industry

Time Management: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Problem-Solving: Sound judgment to address customer issues effectively and find appropriate solutions within established guidelines.
Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure seamless customer service.
Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with changing priorities and requirements.
