[Remote] Data Analyst (SQL + Power BI)

The role involves designing and implementing data models and schemas, developing Power BI dashboards, and ensuring data accuracy and reliability for business intelligence initiatives. Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain data models and schemas to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives • Leverage SQL to query, transform, and optimize large datasets for reporting and analysis • Build and enhance Power BI dashboards and reports, applying UX and data visualization principles for clarity and usability • Implement and manage ETL processes to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across systems • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define KPIs, and deliver actionable insights • Apply data warehousing concepts such as dimensional modeling and star/snowflake schemas • Partner with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to ensure seamless data integration and reporting workflows • Troubleshoot data quality issues, identify process improvements, and ensure data governance standards are upheld Skills • Proficiency in SQL and proven experience designing and implementing data models and schemas • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts (dimensional modeling, star/snowflake schemas) • Hands-on experience with Power BI, including dashboard development and UX-focused data visualization • Proven ability to transform and optimize large, raw datasets into structured, analytics-ready formats • ETL experience required; experience using Alteryx is preferred but not required • Excellent communication skills with ability to effectively engage and present to project stakeholders • Strong analytical thinking and problem‐solving abilities with attention to detail • Experience working in cross‐functional data environments • Familiarity with other data visualization or ETL tools is a plus • Background in business analysis, data engineering, or analytics consulting Company Overview • Jobdiva Job Portal: Recruitment (contingency search and campus selection).
