We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Part-Time Nutrition Tutor to support student success in our Nutritional Sciences department at Pennsylvania State University. As a tutor, you will play a vital role in helping students achieve their academic goals and fostering a culture of excellence in learning.
Job Summary:
Assist the instructor in tutoring and supporting student learning in Nutrition 445
Respond to emails and perform other tasks related to the class
Work closely with students to provide individualized support and guidance
Collaborate with the instructor to develop and implement effective tutoring strategies
Requirements:
Must have previously earned a B+ or higher in the same course (Nutrition 445)
Nutritional Sciences majors in their 4th year are preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff
