Responsibilities
Prepare and teach assigned medical assistant core curriculum courses
Utilize best practices for teaching medical assisting and engage students to succeed
Meet class times and assist students with questions related to the course
Maintain safety practices in labs and support students' academic success
Foster a flexible and healthy learning environment with respect for student diversity
Requirements
Current and unencumbered Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified or LPN/RN license
At least one year of clinical experience in an outpatient healthcare setting within the last five years
Experience teaching at a community college or providing training in a healthcare setting is desirable
What We Offer
Competitive salary: $862.94/credit (Step 1) or $880.19/credit (Step 2) for lecture, and $1,403.83/credit (Step 1) or $1,431.91/credit (Step 2) for lab
Quarterly contracts with opportunities for sick leave and benefits
