JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Department is seeking a part-time faculty member to teach a web-based developmental biology course in Summer 2023. All teaching will be online and in-person presence on the University Park campus is not required. Prior teaching experience and knowledge of sound pedagogical practices strongly preferred. Applicants must have earned a minimum of a Master's degree in a closely-related field, with a PhD preferred. Qualified applicants should submit a cover letter, CV, statement of teaching philosophy, and contact information for three professional references. Review of complete applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled. Salary is commensurate with experience. The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters. The ASR is available for review here.
