About the Role As a Part-time Benefit Center Advocate, you'll be the primary point of contact for our clients, providing expert support and guidance on employee benefit enrollment. This is a unique opportunity to make a real impact on people's lives, and we're looking for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities Answer inbound calls from clients in a professional, energetic, and positive manner, addressing their concerns and queries regarding employee benefit enrollment. Assist with benefit enrollment-related questions, including enrollment, verification, tech, and active issues. Respond accurately and thoroughly to caller inquiries, documenting call details accordingly to ensure seamless follow-up. Ensure compliance with all processing requirements, completing transactions in a timely and accurate manner. What We're Looking For To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess a unique blend of skills, experience, and personal qualities. Here are the essential and preferred qualifications: Essential Qualifications: A strong customer-centric mindset, with a passion for delivering exceptional service. Comfortable with technology, as we'll be relying on you to navigate our systems and tools. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with clients. Exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills, with a clear and concise tone. A team player who strives for excellence, with a resourceful and creative approach to problem-solving. Ability to adhere to training and established schedules, as well as attendance policies. Preferred Qualifications: Healthcare benefits or insurance industry experience, although not required. Bilingual skills (Spanish and English), which can earn you a higher hourly rate. Licensure in Life & Health Insurance, which can also result in a higher hourly rate. What You'll Need to Succeed To perform this role effectively, you'll need to have the right technology and equipment. Here are the requirements: A Windows-enabled PC/Laptop or MacBook (Chromebooks and Tablets are not supported). Internet speeds of above 50 Mbps (Download) and 5 Mbps (Upload). Ethernet Cable Connection. USB-enabled Headset. A second monitor (screen) is highly recommended. Training and Support We understand that this role requires specific skills and knowledge, which is why we're committed to providing comprehensive training and support. Here's what you can expect: A paid 16-workday training program prior to "going live," which includes both on-camera training sessions via Microsoft Teams and self-guided/individual learning work. Ongoing support and guidance from our experienced team. Schedule and Hours We're looking for part-time team members to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with limited weekend hours available during peak periods. The available shifts are: Eastern Standard Time: 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM, 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM, 2:00 PM - 7:00 PM, or 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM. 5-6 hour shifts, with flexibility to adjust to business needs. Compensation and Benefits We're offering a competitive hourly rate of $17.00, with opportunities to earn more if you possess specific skills or licensure. Here's a breakdown of the compensation: $17.00 per hour (standard rate). $19.00 per hour (if licensed in Life & Health Insurance or bilingual in Spanish and English).
