Overnight Replenishment Associate
Job Description
Provides World Class Customer Service by surprising and delighting our customers every day. Replenishes and relocates merchandise on and off the sales floor. Builds and maintains ad displays; maintains Company standards in merchandising displays and presentations.
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
ā¢ Ensures customer care and selling are #1 priority
ā¢ Displays safe practices in proper lifting and the use of company required box cutters
ā¢ Makes a great first and lasting impression on every customer through great customer service by offering to take the customer to the merchandise and assists in carry outs on large items, greeting customers and making eye contact
ā¢ Maintains customer accessibility throughout the entire store by returning shopping carts and baskets to the front of the store and keeping all areas of the sales floor and stockroom clean and free of stray merchandise
ā¢ Communicates with Replenishment Lead and Area Merchandise Leads in the processing of no-home merchandise
ā¢ Displays strong skill sets in use of the Remote Maintenance Unit (RMU); Utilizes the RMU to track merchandise in the stockroom
ā¢ Follows corporate guidelines relating to Merchandise Claims & Control (MC&C) and known loss merchandise, and open/empty packages
ā¢ Understands all register functions including how to process all transactions and forms of tender
ā¢ Demonstrates good use of Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) by applying sensors on designated items and ensuring tags are deactivated as goods are sold
ā¢ Replenishes and relocates merchandise on and off the sales floor and practices effective stock rotation
ā¢ Builds and maintains ad displays
ā¢ Fills and straightens merchandise displays in compliance with layout and merchandise standards
ā¢ Understands the Merchandise Claims & Control (MC&C) Policy in the processing of damaged goods in the replenishment process
ā¢ Knowledgeable of the financial goals regarding sales, margin and shrink and take steps to improve the stockroom in these areas
ā¢ Assists in building displays and has knowledge of the use of the Retail Enterprise Suite (RES) printer to properly sign end caps and displays
ā¢ Assists in the process of replenishing the Distribution Center (DC) and common carrier shipments and understands the importance of verifying information on DC labels during the replenishment process
ā¢ Performs other duties as assigned
REQUIRED SKILLS:
ā¢ Strong verbal, writing, and analytical skills
ā¢ Ability to lift and move merchandise, typically a minimum of 40lbs, but could be as much as 100lbs
ā¢ Repetitive bending, lifting, stretching and reaching skills
ā¢ Ability to be cross-trained
ā¢ Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
ā¢ Knowledge of store, services and locations of merchandise
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
ā¢ High school diploma or equivalent
ā¢ 1-2 years of related experience
ā¢ 18 years of age or older
