Job Description:
ā¢ We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Financials Functional Consultant with strong expertise in General Ledger (GL) and Fixed Assets to lead functional design, configuration, and implementation efforts.
ā¢ This role requires a hands-on professional who can translate complex finance business requirements into scalable Oracle Cloud solutions while driving delivery with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
ā¢ Lead functional design and configuration of Oracle Fusion Financials, primarily General Ledger (GL) and Fixed Assets modules
ā¢ Translate complex finance business requirements into effective Oracle Cloud solutions aligned with enterprise structure
ā¢ Configure and manage:
ā¢ Chart of Accounts (CoA)
ā¢ Journal processing and subledger accounting (SLA)
ā¢ Period close processes
ā¢ Asset lifecycle (capture, capitalization, depreciation)
ā¢ Intercompany accounting
ā¢ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate accounting events, integrations, and data flows
ā¢ Partner with finance stakeholders to gather requirements, perform gap analysis, and recommend solutions aligned with best practices and accounting standards
ā¢ Lead implementation activities, enhancements, and continuous improvements
ā¢ Prepare functional design documents, business process flows, and solution specifications
ā¢ Support reporting requirements using OTBI and Oracle Financial Reporting tools
ā¢ Manage data migration activities using FBDI templates for journals and asset data loads
ā¢ Troubleshoot functional issues, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate with Oracle Support (SRs)
ā¢ Drive SIT, UAT, and regression testing cycles
ā¢ Support cutover planning and go-live activities
ā¢ Develop and maintain user documentation and training materials
ā¢ Promote best practices by leveraging standard Oracle functionality over customizations
Required Qualifications
ā¢ 6+ years of experience in Oracle Financials, with a strong focus on Oracle Fusion Cloud
ā¢ Hands-on experience with:
ā¢ General Ledger (GL)
ā¢ Fixed Assets
ā¢ Subledger Accounting (SLA)
ā¢ Proven experience in end-to-end Oracle Cloud implementations
ā¢ Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
ā¢ Experience with data migration tools (FBDI) and reporting tools (OTBI)
ā¢ Ability to translate business requirements into functional solutions
ā¢ Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
ā¢ Experience working in fast-paced, client-facing environments
Preferred Qualifications
ā¢ Experience with intercompany accounting and financial close processes
ā¢ Knowledge of additional Oracle Financial modules (AP, AR, Cash Management)
ā¢ Prior experience in large-scale enterprise implementation
ā¢ Oracle Cloud certifications are a plus
