The opportunity: We're seeking experienced virtual instructors to teach our 15-week Pharmacy Technician (PhT) Program. Stepful programs are designed to support students at every step of the way, from getting certified by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board to finding high-quality healthcare jobs. This is a fully remote 1099 contract position. What you'll do: • Teach highly-engaging live classes over Zoom twice per week (morning and evenings available) • Grade student projects and provide feedback as necessary • Engage with students daily via email and SMS, inspiring them and guiding them through graduation • Join weekly meetings to receive guidance and direction from the internal team at Stepful • Provide ongoing support, trouble-shoot issues, prepare and plan for future modules, as needed What you'll bring: • At least 2 years of experience teaching Pharmacy or Pharmacy Technician courses online, with knowledge of course development, instruction, evaluation, and academic advising • At least 3 years of experience working as a Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician • Pharmacy or Pharmacy Technician Certification • Experience with digital tools for teaching in either online or blended/hybrid formats • Experience teaching adult students of diverse backgrounds and abilities • Stellar writing and communication skills • Ability to work 7-10 hours per week per class taught Bonus points if: • You hold a Bachelor's degree Compensation: The hourly rate range for this opportunity is $30/hour - $33/hour. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, internal pay equity and other relevant business considerations.
