Online Contract Instructor to teach FLIP A CLIP 2D Animation to kids

Looking for another remote Instructor to join our team, teaching Flip A Clip 2D Animation for weekly online classes to learners with approximate ages of 8-14. Beginner and Intermediate. Specifically looking for hours that convert to EST Night Hours (after 6:00 pm EST) Starting Immediately (Do not apply if you are not prepared to start the onboarding process ASAP) • **PLEASE READ!*** If you are interested, please email with the following information: 1) A short Bio with your knowledge of this program, including any degrees and/or certificates that you hold. 2) A short intro video with a mini mock lesson (approx. 3 minutes is fine) showing what students will see via zoom meetings with you. This should show your personality, your area within the zoom frame, and how you will show your lessons (screen share, document camera, etc.) About Us: We are an Organization of educators in the Arts and Technology Fields. We are an Organization (Creative Courses Group LLC) that teach most of our classes via the Outschool Platform. We pay Outschool for use of their platform, unlimited zoom, payment processing, etc. We pay our teachers via Quickbooks, as independent contractors. We schedule your classes based on the availability you give to us. We are in NY, but our students are global, so all time zones work. If we move forward, you will receive the onboarding packet, contract, along with Policies and Procedures. We have 91 classes currently, and have taught 4,812 learners globally since 2019. Summary: This contract position requires a passion for teaching, as well as the ability to engage students through interactive and game-based learning methods. You will report to the Program Coordinator and are expected to create a fun and educational environment that fosters creativity and critical thinking. Must be comfortable with inclusivity and support marginalized students. We are a secular organization. Qualifications: • Some Experience in educating, mentoring or tutoring to ages under 18. • Ability to engage and motivate students if they are uncomfortable. • Familiarity with Zoom. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You may need to address parents. • Ability to respond to emails and messages from Creative Courses and/or Parents and students within 24 hours. We are based in NY (EST time) You just show up on time and teach what you are passionate about! A few hours per week teaching what you love! We take care of: Back end management Platform hosting fees Advertising/Marketing fees Payment processing fees Processing issues Admin work Background check fees unlimited zoom fees For new instructors, We pay based on teaching hours AND number of students per class section: Pay Scale per class: 1-2 Learners: $12 /hr 3-4 Learners: $15 /hr 5+ Learners: $24 /hr Substitute: $24 per class Self-Paced: $20 per learner Private 1:1 classes: $.50 per minute ($30/hr) • ALL instructors will be background checked. • No prior felonies.
