For more information, visit www.jobs.premisehealth.com.As a Full Time Nurse Practitioner (NP), you'll provide care to client employees in our Health Center located in Blaine, WA. The scheduled hours anticipated will be Monday-Thursday 6:30am-5:00pm and rotating Fridays, 8:00am-12:00pm. No nights, weekends or holidays! Our setting allows for more time providing quality care to patients. Join us and experience the difference! Position is also eligible to receive a $7,500 sign-on bonus.What You'll DoEnsures compliance with regulatory requirements related to clinical operations and manages required physical evaluations (OSHA, DOT, CDC, etc.)Conducts fitness for duty and return to work physical exams as requestedPerforms procedures such as injections, suturing, wound care, and infection managementProvides medically appropriate care to injured workers using evidence-based guidelines, expedites the return to meaningful work, and collaborates with the TPA and client to quarterback case managementImplements and monitors transitional duty programs for injured workersDevelops patient care plans, records progress, and ensures continuity of careEducates patients on treatment plans, health maintenance, and developmentOrders and interprets diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditionsCollaborates with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive careCollaborates with Medical director and client stakeholders on Health Promotion programs, surveillance needs, and other related safety/injury prevention opportunitiesRefers patients to specialists or physicians as neededMaintains patient health records ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation and recordsEducates and coaches nursing staff on best practicesPerforms other duties as assignedWhat You'll BringMaintains state RN licenses/certificates to practiceMaintains NP licenses/certificates to practiceMaintains State Prescriptive Authority (if applicable)Federal DEA license (matching each state of practice as applicable)State Narcotic/Controlled Substance license if required in your state (Alabama, Connecticut, DC, Delaware, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Utah, Wyoming, Puerto Rico) (New York ROPES registration)Current national certification (ANCC or AANP required)Master’s Degree in Science of Nursing (if Master Degree in Science certificate does not state Nursing on it then a copy of transcripts is required)Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services Board certification in occupational health (COHN/COHN-S/COHN-S/CM) preferredWork-life balance is at the foundation of how decisions are made and where Premise is headed. A number of factors will influence the rate offered for this position, including your experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other factors.For individuals living in Washington or Colorado: Premise offers the following paid time off benefits. Employees will earn 0.0769 hours of paid time off per actual hours worked or based on standard schedule, per pay period, and will receive 10 paid holidays or an equivalent bank of hours aligned to schedule throughout the calendar year.
