What You'll Do
As a school-based OT, you will assess students’ functional abilities and develop treatment strategies that improve classroom participation, daily living tasks, and sensory processing. You'll partner with educators, families, and special education staff to support individualized goals and help students gain confidence and independence within their school environment.
Maryland Licensure Requirements
• Valid Maryland Occupational Therapy License from the Board of OT Practice
• NBCOT Certification preferred
• Prior experience with school-aged children strongly preferred
• Must pass background checks and meet MSDE standards
