Night Dispatch

We are seeking a Night Dispatcher to become part of our growing company built on reputation, success and employee satisfaction working in a friendly environment. Night Dispatch is responsible for managing the transportation of freight and load boards during the evening hours and weekends. Responsibilities • Make check calls by calling drivers delivering, picking up and on the road • Coordinate loads and dispatch drivers loading daily including setting appointments, getting directions, loading times, temperature requirements, ETA’s, etc. • Monitor operations to ensure loads run smooth, on time and all details are attended to • Accurately enter detailed information for each customer, carrier and load into load board program to ensure streamlined communication across all levels • Respond quickly to resolve problems and issues that may arise during transit of loads Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent, Supply Chain Management degree preferred • Experience in transportation or logistics • Must enjoy working in the evening hours and weekends in a supportive role • Strong work ethic with proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Live in the Metro Detroit area Learning, Development & Culture: Our organization culture is positive, encouraging teamwork, growth, and innovation.
