About the Role: Proposal Quality Analyst As a Proposal Quality Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and effectiveness of our RFP responses, driving success for our Medicaid proposals. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement high-quality proposals that meet our internal standards and industry best practices. Key Responsibilities Review and edit proposal content for compliance, consistency, strategy, and responsiveness according to internal bid and style guides. Support, guide, and counsel a team of writers by monitoring and reporting on each stage of the review process, ensuring internal quality standards and expectations are met. Maintain expert understanding of Aetna Medicaid products and services, staying up-to-date on industry developments and best practices. Collaborate with content managers to provide internal quality peer reviews according to our internal processes and procedures. Support knowledge sharing and training efforts by working closely with team leaders to identify areas of opportunity to increase writing quality for the Proposal Development Team. Continuously measure, monitor, and improve proposal delivery processes, utilizing industry best practices and identifying opportunities to increase effectiveness and efficiency. Actively participate in team meetings and directly acknowledge and share innovative ideas to drive innovation and creativity. Support and drive continuous improvement of internal processes and procedures, including scorecards, quality business reports, style guides, and internal metrics for performance. Develop and lead style and quality team training sessions focused on adherence to bid and style guides and RFP compliance. Collaborate with Health Plan leadership to create RFP-specific bid guides. Maintain and update department style guide in compliance with AP style updates/changes. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll need: A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. Two or more years of experience in a quality reviewer/supervisor capacity, preferably in a proposal development environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with sharp attention to detail. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously. Demonstrated ability to work effectively across departments/levels, including health plan leaders, proposal development, and marketing. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including SharePoint, Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills. Self-starter with the ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications To take your application to the next level, you'll ideally have: Passion for the Medicaid business and the content within it. Superior writing and editing skills, with the ability to review proposal materials that align with the Aetna Medicaid Proposal Style Guide. APMP Bid/Proposal Foundation Certification (recommended). Six Sigma certification (recommended). Demonstrated understanding of AP style guides and internal style guides. Ability to appreciate the big picture and make connections between proposal sections and content development.
