Remote Full-time
Job title: Virtual Middle School Math Tutor Early Mornings High Demand
Company: Littera Education
Job description: Littera Education is seeking virtual middle school math tutors for a rapid onboarding! If you are qualified, interested, and ready to complete your application, and onboarding should you be extended an offer, we invite you to apply today!

Tutors will support learners in grades 6, 7, and 8 with middle school math concepts and must have availability between 8am-9am EST for this opportunity four days a week, Tuesday to Friday. (and can add additional availability as well)

What makes Littera different?: Littera tutors often meet with the same student(s) multiple times each week, on a regular basis for a series of weeks, at the same times, from week to week. * Sessions take place for this upcoming need Tuesday to Friday, and 8-9am ET is currently required due to high demand. (other Littera programs take place Monday to Friday)

Tutoring at Littera supports students across the USA also between the hours of 9am to 9pm ET and in addition to your 8-9am ET calendar availability, tutors can open their calendar for added sessions between these hours as well.
What will you do as a Littera tutor?

Add your availability to your tutor calendar - without minimum or maximum requirements
Complete curriculum overviews to receive your sign in for the provided content
Tutor students virtually in a 1:1 to 1:3 ratio
Build relationships with students located across the United States
Guide students using the provided lesson content material
Once you are matched to students with an assigned schedule, we ask that you commit to that schedule in order to build a strong tutor:student relationship.

How are tutors scheduled?: Littera tutors set their availability in their tutor dashboard. Sessions are offered at Littera Monday to Friday, with session times generally between 8am ET to 9pm ET. Tutors share the subjects and levels of interest to tutor and open calendar availability. Curriculum is provided for all sessions. Following a complete tutor profile, and a review of the curriculum platform(s), the platform begins to seek to match a tutor with an ongoing program series.

Tutors may be matched with a tutoring series quickly, or the platform may continue to search for a match for the tutor over a number of weeks, based on the incoming student subjects/levels/schedule, and the tutor profile.

Program Details:

Tutoring will be with students in grades 6, 7, or 8 who are working with upper elementary and early middle school math content and need our help the most.
Tutors may also choose to select additional subjects and levels to work with K to 5 or high school students in other tutoring programs.
We understand that there are times when you might need a sub - and we have a sub team ready to step in!
