As a Licensing Advisor, you will be part of the Licensing and Regulatory Compliance function, in the broader Center Operations Department. In this role, you will work collaboratively in cross functional teams to provide consistent, accurate information aligning licensing and other regulatory programs to the field for successful implementation and adoption. This includes state regulatory compliance of existing child care centers, new child care centers, and acquisitions.
A successful Licensing Advisor II will be familiar with State regulations, actively engage to influence approaches to child care licensing, and will be a forward thinker that drives efficiencies while maintaining compliance.
When you join our team, you will...

Act as liaison for Regulatory Compliance, specifically for child care licensing.
Provide expertise and administrative support in an efficient and professional manner to minimize risk and maintain child care licensing compliance
Drive regulatory compliance strategy by providing the support, tools and training customers need to meet established goals and metrics
Process child care licensing paperwork, including permits and applications, and identifies risks, impacts or roadblocks to ensure timely issuance of the licensing permits
Engage in effective communication to support internal customers and drive for continual improvement
Review and understand state regulations, determine the impact to current or future processes, and communicate information to customers
Participate in regular meetings to provide state child care licensing information, permit timelines and updates on projects
Maintain online documentation and access to records and sources of data for child care licensing
Participate in and may lead aspects of the planning, development and implementation of all regulatory related initiatives, special projects and work groups.
Some travel may be required (25%)

Qualifications

Minimum 1-3 years of experience working in a licensed childcare center
4-year degree preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point strongly desired
Strong writing and communication skills required
Demonstrated ability to work with people in a positive and professional manner
Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and prioritize issues requiring
