Music Therapist Online - Fully Remote - Flexible Schedule
Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified music therapist to conduct virtual music therapy sessions. The ideal candidate will have experience creating customized music therapy plans and facilitating sessions over video conferencing platforms. If you are passionate about using music as a therapeutic tool and have the ability to connect with clients remotely, we would love to hear from you.
Duties:
Music therapists can expect to provide both recurring sessions and trial sessions until the instructor reaches scheduling capacity. Lentil Music Therapy ("LMT") offers 30, 45, 60 and 90 minute sessions. Qualified candidates should be comfortable with providing virtual music therapy to a wide range of clientele and have a valid MT-BC credential. .
Administrative duties are minimal, as LMT employs staff to handle trial scheduling and billing. Music Therapists are required to submit a weekly lesson summary for payroll verification.
Scheduling:
Qualified music therapists with consistent availability during peak hours can expect to quickly develop a full schedule of clients. Peak hours are defined as weekdays 4pm to 8pm in any of the 4 US time zones (Eastern, Central, Mountain and Pacific). Music therapists with other availability are welcome but may receive clients more slowly.
LMT is eager to hire talented, enthusiastic and thoughtful music therapists and, as such, will work to accommodate successful candidates who have additional conflicts, such as graduate work or additional part-time employment. However, we do look for consistent availability in order for clients to be able to regularly attend sessions at a consistent time each week.
Requirements:
MT-BC credential.
High quality microphone, webcam, and computer. Applicants will verify these items during the interview process.
Work authorization for the USA.
Compensation:
$20 to $30 per hour based on the completion of education degrees, credentialing and years of experience. Additional and specific compensation questions will be discussed during the interview process.
