Motion Graphics Designer for Podcast Intro + Viral Brand Launch Reel (Modern, Bold, Brand Driven)
We’re looking for a skilled motion graphics designer to help us revamp our podcast intro AND create a high-impact launch reel for our new branding. We are a growing mental health brand (Guiding Tides) focused on breaking stigma—and we want visuals that feel modern, bold, and engaging, not slow or overly emotional. This project has two parts: Podcast intro (core brand asset) Social media reel to launch our new branding Guiding Tides is a mental health podcast and platform focused on: Breaking stigma Real conversations Helping people take action We’re building a recognizable, premium brand across social media, and need visuals that immediately capture attention. 1. Podcast Intro (Primary Deliverable) Create a 5–8 second motion graphics intro that includes: Our new logo (provided) Clean, modern logo animation Strong hook in the first 1–2 seconds Dynamic but minimal transitions 2. Brand Launch Reel (NEW Branding Drop ) Create a short-form reel (10–20 seconds) to introduce our new branding across: Instagram Reels TikTok YouTube Shorts This reel should: Be fast-paced, catchy, and scroll-stopping Highlight the new logo + brand identity Use engaging motion graphics (not just static edits) Potentially include: Quick cuts Text overlays (optional) Subtle effects (glitch, motion, transitions) Goal: Make people stop scrolling and feel like something new just dropped We want something that feels: Modern & clean Bold and confident Engaging within the first 1–2 seconds Slight edge/grit is OK—but still polished Visual direction ideas: Sharp, dynamic transitions Subtle glitch or distortion effects Smooth motion tied to flow/tides (not literal waves) Avoid: Slow cinematic intros Overly emotional storytelling Generic wellness aesthetics Strong experience in motion graphics (After Effects) Portfolio with modern logo animations + social content Understands short-form content performance Can create attention-grabbing visuals quickly Deliverables 1 Podcast Intro (5–8 sec) 1 Brand Launch Reel (10–20 sec) Optional shorter cutdowns Final files: MP4 (optimized for social + YouTube) Source files (After Effects preferred) Please include: -Portfolio (logo animations + reels preferred) -2–3 relevant examples -Brief idea of how you’d approach: The intro The launch reel Timeline Growth Opportunity We’re building a full content + product ecosystem.
