The Member Support Associate at the YMCA of Central Massachusetts provides the highest level of remote member service and telephone reception. The Member Support Associate is also responsible for building security and computer-related financial transactions while maintaining a supportive, positive atmosphere that welcomes and respects all individuals.
Β * Position is Remote but only eligible to applicants residing in the state of Massachusetts**
Job Duties
Β Provide excellent member support in line with creating the Most Welcoming Place
Β Promptly answer phone and email inquiries in a profession and courteous manner
Β Greeting prospective and current members and introducing the YMCA as an organization
Β Handles all operational inquiries such as membership, hours, and program offerings/schedules
Β Responsible for knowing the policies, programs, ideals, mission, and cause of the YMCA of Central Massachusetts & articulates them clearly
Β Participate in our member feedback loop by ensuring that feed-back is followed up
Β Checking and verifying member information in the operating system
Β Maintain the organization's electronic task systems
Β Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Β A minimum of a high school diploma and/or 12 months of customer service experience (remote customer service experience preferred)
Β Exceptional human relations and interpersonal skills
Β Exceptional navigation of computer, software, website, and app skills
Β Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Schedule
Β Thursdays: 1:30 pm - 6:00 pm
Β Fridays: 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Β Alternating Saturdays: 8:00 am to 1:00 pm
Job Type: Part-Time
Pay: $15.00 per hour. Plus, access to YMCA facilities (gym, pool, ect.) for all YMCA employees, Employee Assistance Program, and Sick Leave
