Job Description

We are seeking a part-time detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills to join our team at Western Vascular Institute. You'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care by managing incoming calls, scheduling appointments, and assisting patients with their inquiries.

As a Medical Phone Receptionist, you should combine a pleasant personality with a dynamic professional attitude. Our ideal candidate has a solid customer service approach and can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multi-task. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure you provide professional and compassionate service to our patients.

Responsibilities
? Answer and manage incoming calls in a professional and courteous manner.
? Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments.
? Provide general information to patients about our services and policies.
? Verify patient information and update records as needed.
? Collaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient communication.
? Handle a high volume of calls with efficiency and empathy.
? Ensure company's policies and security requirements are met.

Skills + Experience
? High school diploma or equivalent.
? Prior experience in a medical office or similar setting is preferred.
? Strong communication and organizational skills.
? Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
? Familiarity with medical terminology/Vascular is a plus.
? Proficiency in using phone systems and EMR systems. (NextGen preferred.)
