As the Director of Scientific Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and executing effective marketing strategies, strengthening the market position, and driving customer engagement. Responsibilities: Develop and Execute Scientific Marketing Strategy: • Collaborate with senior management to define marketing objectives, strategies, and tactics aligned with the company's goals. • Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive scientific marketing plans, leveraging industry trends and insights. • Utilize your scientific knowledge to effectively communicate the value proposition of services to the target audience. Brand Management: • Oversee the development and execution of brand guidelines, ensuring consistent messaging and visual identity across all marketing materials. • Drive brand awareness initiatives through targeted advertising, scientific publications, conferences, and other relevant channels. • Develop a content strategy that aligns with customer needs and positions our organization as a thought leader in the industry. Market Research and Analysis: • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitive insights. • Analyze market data, customer feedback, and industry developments to identify opportunities and guide marketing decisions. • Utilize market research findings to inform the development of marketing campaigns, messaging, and targeting strategies. Digital Marketing and Lead Generation: • Develop and implement lead generation strategies to expand the customer base and drive business growth. • Monitor and analyze digital marketing metrics to measure campaign effectiveness and optimize marketing spend. Relationship Building: • Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), industry associations, and scientific communities. • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify partnership opportunities and support customer engagement initiatives. • Represent the company at scientific conferences, industry events, and customer meetings as a subject matter expert. Qualifications: • Advanced degree (PhD, MD, or equivalent) in a scientific discipline. A combined scientific and business background is preferred. • Minimum of 8-10 years of marketing experience within the CRO/CDMO or life sciences industry. • Strong understanding of the drug development process and the role of CROs/CDMOs. • Proven track record in developing and executing successful marketing strategies in a scientific context. • Excellent scientific writing and communication skills. • Experience with digital marketing techniques and platforms. • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities. • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
