Manual Technical Writer
Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented, technically skilled Technical Writer to join our team. This position requires strong writing and editing skills, as well as the ability to research and understand technical concepts. The Technical Writer will work closely with domain experts to produce user manuals, guides, and other technical documentation.
Responsibilities
Develop, write, and edit high-quality technical documentation to meet user needs.
Work with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to gather information and clarify technical details.
Perform in-depth research to ensure documentation is accurate and complete.
Proofread documents for grammar, clarity, and consistency prior to final release.
Update existing documents as needed to reflect changes in products or processes.
Skills
Proficiency in word processing software such as Microsoft Word is essential.
Excellent proofreading skills and attention to detail.
Experience in technical writing and the ability to clearly communicate complex information.
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
Ability to edit content to ensure it is clear, consistent, and follows formatting guidelines.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
