IT Support Technician

They are seeking an IT Support Technician to provide technical support for users across the Americas, manage end-user devices, and ensure service continuity while collaborating with the IT team.ResponsibilitiesProvide daily technical support for on-site and remote users across the Americas Region, covering hardware, software, and phone system inquiriesManage end-user devices, including setup, rollout, upgrades, and accurate hardware/software inventory trackingIdentify and resolve security issues promptly, including virus and malware monitoring and the implementation of necessary fixesSupport IT projects from planning through completion and collaborate with other IT team members to ensure service continuityServe as a subject matter expert for selected internal applications and toolsCommunicate effectively with internal stakeholders, providing timely updates, clear documentation, and professional customer serviceAlign local IT requirements with corporate IT strategy, including contributing to budgeting for equipment and maintenance needsSkills1–3 years of experience in end‑user support within a Microsoft server and multi‑platform environmentWorking knowledge of Windows 10, Microsoft Office, Active Directory, and basic server administration utilitiesStrong analytical and problem‑solving skills with high attention to detailAbility to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and follow through on assignmentsStrong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to document processes clearlySelf‑motivated approach with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a teamBachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related fieldExperience with cabling systems, Vonage, Bomgar Remote Support tools, or help desk ticketing systemsExperience providing IT support across multiple sites or regionsExperience supporting hardware installations or endpoint equipment rolloutsBenefits401(k) plan with employer matchUp to 12 weeks of paid parental leave for birthing parents and 2 weeks for other parentsHealth plans (medical, dental, and vision)Life insurance and disabilityGenerous paid time offCompany OverviewTÜV SÜD is the trusted partner of choice for safety, security and sustainability solutions.
