The Managed Services Consultant is a member of our Professional Services team who provides offsite, post-go-live application administration for R&D Vault customers. Veeva Vault, our cloud-based content management and collaboration solution, is used by our customers to manage content-centric processes across key departments within a life sciences company, including clinical, quality, manufacturing, and regulatory spaces.Business-level communication skills are desirable in both Japanese and English. Qualified applicants should be based in Japan and working in the Veeva Tokyo or Osaka office. What You’ll Do Provide post-go-live administrative support for multiple clientsConfiguration of users and groups, document types, properties, lifecycles and workflows, picklists, notifications, and securityBulk import/export of content and dataAd hoc training of users and administratorsAnalysis and deployment of new product featuresMaintenance of production and sandbox environmentsCreation of regular and ad hoc customer reportsExecute customer change requests Requirements Experience with configuring/supporting/implementing content management softwareCustomer service or consulting experienceAbility to quickly understand client requirements and needs and articulate potential solutionsExperience fulfilling customer needs and managing expectationsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProven ability to work remotely and independently in support of clientsBachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience Nice to Have Project management experienceSystem Administration experienceUnderstanding of life sciences content management principles, types, and taxonomiesUnderstanding of life sciences compliance and system validation requirementsExperience with Veeva Vault, OpenText, Documentum/EMC, Liquent, and/or Next Docs Perks & Benefits Health & wellness programs Additional Information Veeva’s headquarters is located in the San Francisco Bay Area with offices in more than 15 countries around the world.Veeva is an equal opportunity employer.
