Job Summary...
We are looking for a reliable and skilled Facilities/Maintenance Support Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and improvements to ensure our facilities operate efficiently and safely. This role requires a background in maintenance, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Ā Routine Maintenance: Assist with regular inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other mechanical systems.
Ā Repairs: Assist with repair issues related to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural components. Ensure all repairs are performed in a timely and efficient manner.
Ā Facility Upkeep: Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of all facilities, including common areas, restrooms, and workspaces.
Ā Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and assist with repairs production equipment and machinery to ensure optimal operation and minimal downtime.
Ā Safety Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies. Conduct safety inspections and address any hazards promptly.
Ā Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspection reports, and equipment logs.
Ā Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and services. Oversee and inspect work to ensure it meets company standards.
Ā Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and perform necessary repairs to ensure safety and continuity of operations as needed.
Qualifications:
Ā Experience: Previous experience in facilities maintenance or a similar role is required. Experience in the cannabis industry is a plus.
Ā Skills: Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing skills. Pay is commensurate on skills and experience
Ā Knowledge: Knowledge of building systems and maintenance best practices.
Ā Compliance: Must be at least 21 and meet all local and state regulatory requirements for working in the cannabis industry.
Ā Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50lbs pounds, climbing ladders, and working in various environmental conditions.
