Litigation Attorney (Contract - Fully Remote Option / Flexible Hours)
Segal McCambridge, a national litigation firm, is seeking a contract attorney to work with its toxic tort litigation group in our Detroit office. This is an excellent opportunity for attorneys looking to practice on their own schedule and have the support of a national firm. The attorney will be responsible for covering toxic tort depositions and preparing subsequent reports. This position can be fully remote with a flexible schedule. Office space in the Detroit office is available if desired. Dependent on experience, there is also opportunity to work with other practice groups and expand your practice. The attorney must be licensed in Michigan and be in good standing.
We seek candidates with:
• Current, active license to practice law in Michigan;
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience taking depositions and reporting to clients and/or insurance carriers;
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple deadlines;
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills;
• Proven ability to analyze complex legal issues and produce top quality work;
• A willingness to be proactive and take ownership of projects and assignments.
