Description
At Lighthouse Autism Center, our mission is simple: to bring the highest-quality autism services to the children and families who need them most.We are currently seeking a Remote Clinical Psychologist who is passionate about supporting families navigating neurodevelopmental diagnoses. This position offers flexibility to join our team either part-time (minimum 20 hours per week) or full-time, allowing you to choose the schedule that best fits your availability while making a meaningful impact within a mission-driven organization.In this role, you will conduct diagnostic evaluations for young children (ages 2–6) with suspected autism spectrum disorder (ASD), using evidence-based assessment tools such as the ADOS-2, CARS-2, and other standardized measures. You will play a critical role in helping families gain clarity, access early intervention services, and take the next steps in their child’s developmental journey.What You’ll DoConduct diagnostic evaluations for children with suspected autism spectrum disorder. Completing 10-15 evaluations per weekAdminister ADOS-2, CARS-2, and complementary assessment toolsPrepare comprehensive diagnostic reports that meet insurance requirementsReview findings with families and provide recommendations for servicesCoordinate evaluation schedules, waitlists, and communication with the outreach team and Sr. Director of Diagnostic AssessmentParticipate in ongoing professional learning related to ASD evaluations and best practicesPerform occasional in-person assessments within the region (minimal travel)
Requirements
What We’re Looking For:Psychologist with current license in state resides inPSYPACT licensedDoctoral degree in psychology (PhD/PsyD)HSPP endorsement if applicableExperience with ADOS-2 and autism-specific diagnostic testingExcellent written and verbal communication skillsA family-centered, compassionate approachAbility to work directly with children during assessments
