Learning Center Program Tutor - Empowering Young Minds in York, PA

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Learning Center Program Tutor to provide guidance and support to students in need. As a tutor, you will play a vital role in helping students achieve their academic goals and develop a love for learning.
About the Role:
Part-time position, up to 19 hours weekly (Monday to Thursday, 3 P.M to 8:30 P.M., Friday, 3 P.M. to 6 P.M., during the school year)
Competitive salary: $13.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
Provide nightly homework assistance to students, as needed, following established procedures
Communicate regularly with the Learning Center Director and maintain a clean working environment
Enforce the discipline policy of the Learning Center and implement daily programs as scheduled
Attend trainings and staff meetings, and maintain confidentiality of student information
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Minimum 1 year of experience working with students in a learning environment
Strong interest in reading, math, science, and technology
Excellent communication and organizational skills, with basic technology skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and meet the Child Protection Clearances required by PA Act 153
