Key Responsibilities
Assume daily responsibility for ensuring all operational activities such as data entry, managing spreadsheets, creating binders for students, entering student progress into the learning center management system, and coordinating with the center director to modify student learning plans/workout plans are properly completed.
Administer educational math assessments to diagnose learning gaps in order to create learning plans for students.
Positively interact and engage with parents and students, building rapport, establishing trust, answering any inquiries, and taking the time to get to know the person.
Monitor and moderate in-center instruction working with other math tutors.
Perform center administrative and cleaning tasks.
Provide exceptional customer service and support to students, parents, and staff.
Assist with sales and marketing tasks to promote our learning center and services.
Essential Qualifications
Recent college graduate with a degree in mathematics, sciences, engineering, communications, or teaching.
2+ years of prior working experience in customer service and retail sales.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to multi-task efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent PC, MS Office skills, and data entry skills.
Strong work ethic, punctual, detail-oriented, and reliable.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with students or teaching math.
Familiarity with learning management systems and educational software.
Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
