As part of the Theft, Fraud & Abuse team, you serve as a Splunk specialist supporting the critical needs for fraud analysts and investigators. In this security/fraud focused role, you will enable and support key theft, fraud and abuse capabilities by onboarding data and optimizing Splunk Cloud and related infrastructure in support of the prevention and detection of fraudulent, malicious, and abusive activities on Target.com and Target Stores. Collaborate and utilize your problem-solving skills in an agile environment as part of a team of skilled engineers and analysts to address complex or difficult problems, while getting hands-on experience with cutting edge technologies. About You 4-year degree or equivalent experience 5+ years of Splunk Cloud and relevant architecture/infrastructure experience Experience with Splunk Enterprise Security a plus Demonstrates expertise in Splunk content creation including building dashboards, efficient queries, alerting/notables Demonstrates expertise in analysis and optimization of systems capacity, performance, and operational health Effectively communicates engineering solutions through detailed high- and low-level diagrams Maintains deep technical knowledge within areas of expertise Stays current with new technologies via formal training and self-directed education Strong problem-solving & troubleshooting skills Additional Skills We Are Interested In Scripting/Programming proficiency: Python, Bash, Go Splunk RBA, SOAR, custom data models and normalization, aliasing, MLTK, anomaly detection Proficiency in Logstash, Kafka, Kafka Connect, Linux Server Administration Experience with: Grafana, Docker/Kubernetes, git, application data Power User Certification, Splunk Admin Certification This position may be considered for a Remote or Hybrid (known internally at Target as "Flex for Your Day") work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that's not a Target location, does not have a desk at a Target location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member's core role may be performed either remote or onsite at a Target location depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
