First LookWe are seeking a lead growth writer with a proven track record of driving 5M+ monthly pageviews to identify and scale high-traffic opportunities across our network. Your goal is to act as a scout: primarily writing articles and using a small editorial budget to find the winning formula of topic and title, then handing the "business in a box" over to our editorial teams to scale. The MissionAggressive Testing: Write content experiments to find high-ceiling traffic opportunities focused on Google Discover.The "Win" Formula: Identify specific title/topic combinations that yield a high Return on Audience (ROD).Budget Management: Use a nimble editorial budget to produce content and gather immediate performance data.The Handoff: Package successful "lanes" into actionable blueprints for our EPs to take over and produce regular content.The ProfileMotor: You have a motor that makes Lawrence Taylor look slow.Data-Obsessed: You donât guess what works; you let the traffic stats tell the story.Headline Savant: You understand the psychology of the click across different platforms.Builder Mentality: You enjoy the "zero-to-one" phase of finding a niche more than the day-to-day management of one.Efficiency: You move fast, fail cheaply, and double down on winners instantly.The Arena Groupâs expected annualized base salary range for this position is currently $150,000 â $200,000. Actual salaries will vary based on multiple factors including location, education, experience and other factors permitted by law.
