What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Develop and maintain enterprise reporting and analytics solutions using electronic health data
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team within the Enterprise Data and Analytics Department
Utilize UCI Health software such as PowerBI, Tableau, and Epic Reporting Workbench to deliver quality reports
Ensure compliance with quality metrics and regulatory requirements in reporting
Perform basic performance tuning to optimize queries to meet user needs
What Is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience
Minimum 3 years of data analytics experience using relational databases
Minimum 3 years' experience working with SQL
Minimum 3 years' experience with MS SQL Server or Oracle and reporting tools such as SSRS and Tableau
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience developing and maintaining technical documentation within a centralized code repository
2+ years of experience working with EPIC EHR
Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures, and forms
Experience working in healthcare analytics
Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience
