This is a remote position, providing the flexibility to work from any approved location while maintaining regular collaboration with stakeholders. Job Summary The Key Account Specialist (KAS) provides support to Key Account Managers within the Workboots.com and Tacticalgear.com corporate sales lines of business, and to our valued customers. Responsibilities include the provision of product information and ordering methods, processing orders, tracking shipments, answering inquiries about delivery of orders or returns and overseeing the lifecycle of B2B projects, orders, and quotes to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction What You'll Do Answer, track and forward incoming sales calls and as business needs dictate Work closely with account managers in placing orders, identifying specialty item numbers, tracking shipments, authorizing returns, inputting purchase orders and promoting the web-based system for transactions Manage large-scale and complex quotes and orders, ensuring accuracy and timely execution. Arrange for special handling of orders and deliveries with internal departments to include merchandising, uniform services or distribution to ensure uniforms and other products are expedited to meet customer requirements Maintain extensive knowledge of specialized product lines, including VAS (Value-Added Services), PPE, and uniform programs Serve as a subject matter expert for Corporate Sales KAMS and IAEs requiring creative, strategic problem-solving techniques Understand and execute on state-specific Buy Boards and Cooperative Contractual Pricing Agreements. Ensure all transactions align with company policies and legal requirements Provide back up support for account managers when unavailable or out of office What You Bring Minimum high school diploma; four-year degree preferred Proficient in Galls Intranet, Workboots.com and Tacticalgear.com Websites, Internet, and Microsoft Windows (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint) One year of Customer Service, Sales or Retail experience General knowledge of Workboots.com and Tacticalgear.comproduct categories Specific knowledge of customer ordering procedures Strong analytical skills Strong customer service skills to include excellent phone etiquette Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills What We Offer Excellent medical/dental and vision coverage— Eligible 1stday of the month after start date 401(k) retirement plan with company contribution (because you will retire someday) Flexible benefits—choose what you like, ignore the rest Generous employee discount Vacation and Personal Time Paid Holidays Tuition reimbursement Daily Pay; up to 50% of your pay EOE/Disability/Vets
