Learn more at experianplc.com.Job DescriptionWe are looking for a motivated and collaborative Junior Software Engineer to support the development and modernization of our ClaimSource applications. In this role, you will work with C#, modern databases, and container technologies to help enhance system performance, reliability, and scalability. You’ll have the opportunity to contribute to cloud-based initiatives using AWS and gain hands-on experience with microservices, Docker, and CI/CD workflows. This position is ideal for someone to stay informed about relevant technology trends, grow, and make a meaningful impact in a supportive engineering environment. You will report to the Director, Software Development.QualificationsExperience developing applications with C# in a professional or academic environment.Working knowledge of MS SQL or Postgres, with the ability to troubleshoot and improve database performance.Familiarity with Docker or similar containerization technologies.Understanding of microservices concepts and modern software architecture practices.Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and current deployment practices.Interest or experience in supporting cloud-based systems, ideally with AWS.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, maintain, and improve software solutions using C#.Enhance existing applications by implementing new features and optimizing performance.Assist in converting legacy applications into containerized environments using Docker.Participate in transforming monolithic applications into microservices.Work with teams to ensure database performance and reliability using MS SQL or Postgres.Support cloud and deployment initiatives, including AWS services and containerized pipelines.Additional InformationBenefits/Perks:Our benefits include: Medical, life and dental insurance, Asociacion Solidarista, International Share Save Plan, Flex Work/Work from home, Paid time off, Annual Performance Bonus, Education Reimbursement, Family Bonding, Bereavement Leave, Referral Program, and more.This is a fully remote job opportunity. #LI-RemoteOur uniqueness is that we celebrate yours.
