Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Computer Technician I to join our team at Workwarp, providing top-notch technical support to end-users. As a key member of our Information Technology (IT) department, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving routine technical issues related to student Chromebook laptops, basic Helpdesk coverage, and phone support.
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and resolve routine technical issues with Chromebook software and hardware problems
Provide basic Helpdesk coverage and phone support to end-users
Refer complex issues to higher-level staff for resolution
Collaborate with the IT team to ensure seamless technical support
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with staff, students, and the general public
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
6 months of experience in an Information Technology or telecommunications environment
Basic knowledge of personal computers, peripherals, networks, and computer applications
Basic troubleshooting techniques and understanding of computer workstation operating systems
Excellent communication and record-keeping skills
