About the Role
As a Style Consultant at Target, you will have the opportunity to help guests discover the joy of everyday life. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming experience by authentically greeting all guests and observing to quickly understand whether a guest needs assistance or wants to interact.
Key Responsibilities
Ā Create a welcoming experience by authentically greeting all guests
Ā Observe to quickly understand whether a guest needs assistance or wants to interact
Ā Follow body language and verbal clues to tailor your approach
Ā Gain knowledge from store tools to have a clear understanding of key metrics, sales goals, top and bottom departments, inventory levels, top shortage categories, guest traffic and peak times
You will also be responsible for ensuring product availability by keeping the salesfloor replenished and organized to create a guest ready, easy-to-shop experience that's welcoming and inspiring for all. Additionally, you will maintain and use the fitting rooms to welcome, inspire and influence guests and as an opportunity to provide personalized recommendations to complete their look.
Requirements
Ā Strong interest and knowledge of apparel products and accessories
Ā Welcome and helpful attitude toward guests and other team members
Ā Able to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed
Ā Effective communication skills
Ā Able to work both independently and with a team
