We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable IT Data Entry Temp to assist with various data entry tasks in our IT department. This temporary position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a basic understanding of IT systems and software. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inputting, verifying, and updating data in various IT-related systems and databases.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately input data into IT systems and databases.
Maintain and update records in various software tools.
Perform data verification to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Assist with organizing and categorizing electronic files and documents.
Perform basic data cleaning tasks, identifying and resolving inconsistencies.
Support the IT department with administrative tasks as needed.
Follow data privacy and security protocols to ensure the protection of sensitive information.
Provide general support for IT-related projects and initiatives.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.
Proven experience in data entry or administrative support, preferably in an IT or technical environment.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Immediate Excel skills required.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Basic understanding of IT systems and software is a plus.
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods.
Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally.
