Job Opening: Reading Tutor for 1st to 8th Grade (Reading and ELA Program), and High school English Location: Virtual Tutoring with Utopia Math Academy Are you passionate about helping young students build their reading and language arts skills? Utopia Math Academy is seeking a dedicated Reading Tutor to support our 1st to 5th-grade students on their literacy journey. Our tutoring program features a 1:6 student-to-teacher ratio, offering personalized instruction through our curriculum, complemented by IXL support. Position Details: • Role: Reading Tutor for 1st - 8th Grade (Reading and ELA) and High School English • Location: Virtual (Remote) with Utopia Math Academy • Schedule: Part-time, flexible hours Qualifications: • Experience in tutoring or teaching reading and ELA to young learners (grades 1-8) • Background in reading and ELA education, with a preference for expertise in working with English language learners; certified teachers currently teaching elementary English are encouraged to apply • Strong communication skills with a patient and encouraging teaching style Responsibilities: • Provide one-on-one and small group support for reading and ELA students • Develop engaging lesson plans tailored to each student’s reading level • Track and report student progress effectively How to Apply: To apply, please send your resume and a brief cover letter to: [email protected].
