About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Junior Python Developer Intern to help maintain and develop a cutting-edge software platform built on a robust, scalable stack. As part of our remote team, you will gain valuable experience with modern tools and work processes, collaborating with experienced engineers in a real-world environment.
Responsibilities:
ā¢ Support the maintenance and enhancement of existing Python/Django codebases.
ā¢ Participate in the development of new features, tools, and services.
ā¢ Troubleshoot bugs and contribute to code review and testing.
ā¢ Engage in daily communication and collaboration with the development team.
Technologies You Will Use:
ā¢ Python (main programming language)
ā¢ Django (backend web framework)
ā¢ Celery and Redis (background processing and task queues)
ā¢ Kafka (event streaming)
ā¢ PostgreSQL (database)
ā¢ Docker (containerization and microservices)
ā¢ Flask (microservices and APIs)
ā¢ Large Language Models / AI (CrewAI, LangChain, OpenAI, Ollama)
ā¢ GitHub (for CI/CD and team collaboration)
Requirements:
ā¢ Basic proficiency in Python and willingness to learn.
ā¢ Ability to communicate and write in English.
ā¢ Reliable internet connection and capacity to work remotely.
ā¢ Commitment to a minimum 6-month internship
ā¢ Enthusiasm for working in a collaborative, professional software development environment.
Bonus Points:
ā¢ Students who are completing their Common Core and seeking an Internship.
ā¢ Familiarity with any of the listed technologies (especially Django, Docker, Celery, or Kafka).
ā¢ Experience contributing to coding projects, open-source, or coursework.
ā¢ Curiosity about DevOps, backend systems, or automation.
