This role will also work on integrating with partner vendors to ensure seamless data exchange and collaboration. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with seasoned software engineers on impactful enterprise-level projects, while contributing to the migration of legacy systems.Duties and ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the team to design, develop, and maintain databases, APIs and user interfaces.Assist in developing JavaScript-based single-page applications using frameworks like Angular and Vue.js.Support the migration of legacy codebases to modern architectures.Work with transactional databases to ensure data integrity and performance.Participate in code reviews, debugging sessions, and team discussions.Follow industry best practices for secure, efficient, and maintainable software development.Other duties as assigned.Minimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related field or have graduated in the last year.Basic knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (e.g., C#, Java, Python).Familiarity with transactional databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL).Exposure to JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or Vue.js (academic or personal projects are acceptable).Strong willingness to learn new technologies and contribute to legacy code migration efforts.Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environmentWorking conditionsThis position is fully remote.Flexible working hours to accommodate academic schedules if applicable.Collaborative team environment with mentorship opportunities from experienced software engineers.Access to modern tools and technologies for software development.Physical requirementsAbility to communicate clearly and exchange accurate information constantly.Constantly operates computer, keyboard, copy machine, phone, and other general office equipment.Ability to occasionally move objects up to 10 lbs.Direct reportsNone.
